Team overview

The Hurricane Battalion JROTC Drill Team Is an Unarmed specialty team with experience in marching and the use of demilitarized rifles, members of the team choose to be in a Platoon, a Squad, or an Exhibition unit to perform in competitions . The Drill team also consists of a Color Guard unit that participates in presenting the national and state colors at special events such as the Hurricanes football season at home, special requests at public events, at the East Hamilton Middle School events, and or parades and other activities demonstrating the talent, skill, organization and pride of the JROTC. Also participating in competitions with the Drill team at the various competitions that take place in the County School Drill Events. All Drill teams must exhibit skills of discipline, bearing, command, and control in order to be competitive within each event.
